City parking ramps 60 minutes free if in after 9:00 am & out before 6:00 pm for the ramp across Fulton St.the Monroe Center Ramp. 2.Various meters in the area. 3.The lot behind our building is not our lot. However the landlord lets us use it after 5:30 pm if there is no event at the Van Andel Arena it is free.

The Metro system of Grand Rapids called "The Rapid" has 6 lines that stop directly in front of 38 West Commerce. They are 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, 15.

Remains one of our favorite restaurants in all of Grand Rapids. Always high quality good tasting food. It's never disappointed. We love the dishes to share.

Varity of tapas is great for a group. Vegetarian, vegans and gluten free is nice.

Our dinner was not the greatest. We ordered two plates of meat, steak & salmon and they both came out terribly raw still. They were cold and just not cooked.

Waitress was incredibly helpful and ended up “building” our experience for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Well done!

Andrew was our server and he was the absolutely best!! The perfect combination of attentive but not hovering. All of the staff we encountered were kind and appeared happy. It’s been a while since I’ve been to San Chez and several times tonight I caught myself thinking “why don’t we come here more?!” The quality is top notch! Such a GR staple. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A friend and I went to San Chez for the first time before a play and we loved it. The service was a little slow and since it is tapas style that come out staggered we actually had to leave before all of our food came out because we didn’t want to miss the play. What we did get was delicious but plan more time for dinner than you usually would as each dish comes out about 15 minutes apart.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our mocktails last night. We then started with the ensalada de burratta. Between the featured solomillo al cabrales (tenderloin tips), atún en escabeche (tuna), gambas asadas el fuego (shrimp), & pulpo saltedo (octopus) we could not pick a favorite! Followed by the carne paella and the tres leches and chocolate y frambuesas - we had the perfect birthday meal for 4!
