The food was so tasty and fresh! The New York strip was cool how you can cook it to your liking on a hot stone! We sat outside and the back patio has a great atmosphere. It was warm with the heaters and fireplace. Drinks were also great. We want to come back to try more of the menu! Definitely make a resy because it gets busy!

Excellent service , we will be coming back! The food was great and the whiskey selection is the best I’ve seen. Thumbs up.

I was disappointed with the service. They brought my wife’s main meal first, and I had to wait 40 minutes for mine. While the food was okay, it certainly wasn’t great, and the delay was super-frustrating.

We have been going to Sandfish for 3 years and this time the value just wasnt there! The Happy Hour menu was weak and disappointing. The size of the rolls were much smaller than in the past and pricing HIGH!

Hidden gem in heart of Phoenix. Amazing food and service. Relaxed atmosphere. Our server Katie was very attentive. Yellowtail, Octopus were one of the best we've had. Food is on par with Nobu, Roka and Uchi with prices 30% less Bartender is excellent and they have a great collection of whiskey. Our new go to place for Japanese food.

This was a great new find for us. Tried. Arrange if things from sashimi to steak to cocktails and everything was great. Very pleasant decor and great service. I’m not at all a whiskey fan so I did not try any of that. Still had a great experience so don’t let the “whisky forward” presentation deter you. :)

Had a wonderful date night with my husband at Sandfish! Our server Katy was amazing - super knowledgeable of the menu and very pleasant to talk to! We ordered the tuna tasting, Chef’s night plate, uni nigiri, Sandfish roll, octopus and blue crab zushi and Ube cake. Everything was absolutely delicious and their uni was the best uni I’ve had in a while! So fresh, buttery and SWEET! Thank you Katy, we will definitely be back!

Had a really fun date night. We're more wine vs. whiskey, however, took the lead from the bartender and really enjoyed the recommended cocktails. We shared tostadas, beef goyza, sushi (bartender recommend), broccoli/ bok choy and the duck bun. Everything was delicious, one note was we followed the broccoli with the bun, would have been better the other way, the broccoli was a much richer flavor which over powered the bun. We'll be back at some point!

I really loved having dinner here last night. I love the ambience, especially the bar area. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely come back.
