A great place to enjoy a shared plate meal. The staff is awesome and very accommodating - was there with a friend with allergies which made the tasting menu a challenge. They created a custom tasting menu which was wonderful and accommodated all of her needs. It made for a lovely dinner and a terrific meal. Highly recommended, particularly if you have something to celebrate.

Nice ambience and delicious food! My friend and I ordered the tasting menu which we paired with white wine and everything was delicious. Our favourite was the Ikura latke which had the salmon roe on top. The wagyu Reuben sandwich was disappointing for me personally because I couldn’t really tell if it was wagyu due to the thin Reuben cut slice straight. Service was great and the servers were very knowledgeable of each dish. Definitely worth to try and I would come back here again! *the restrooms were amazing also. Heated toilets and bidets made me feel like I was back in Japan again!

Overall everything was great. Everyone was great about my party moving from upstairs to downstairs and so accommodating. Food was lovely as always. I’m so glad I got to introduce more people to Sara and it held up to its reputation.

20% gratuity wasn’t mentioned in the booking, service was ok but food was mid and comes extremely slow. Server came to told us we have 10 mins left at 9:20 when dessert only came at 9:50 and we finished the meal super rushed with forced 20% tips…had to pay before the dessert came and when it came we quickly finished it left. Not worth almost $400 for 2 ppl imo.

The food was amazing, as was the service and atmosphere. Would definitely go back to try some of the items we didn't on this visit!

Not able to provide a vegetarian tasting menu option, even though there website indicates ability to handle dietary restrictions. Avoid if vegetarian.

You can tell there is a lot of love put into the food here. The servers did try to give us a great experience. I think it was a bit loud, the acoustics inside are not great on the 2nd floor (the minimal aesthetic is nice, but there is no sound cushioning). One of the dishes was sent back to the kitchen because it was served cold when it should have been warm at the least. They were super gracious about it and didn't charge us for it.

Thoughtful service attentive without hovering. A minor adjustment to the tasting menu accepted for which we were appreciative. Food was well balanced; textures, flavours, perfect portions, interesting, creative, unpredictable, variations inspired by many culinary traditions, engaging without being pretentious, a pleasure all around. Will happily return and have already recommended it to friends, especially if they are experienced restaurant goers. Thanks Sara. Getting it right!
