   I recently had an amazing experience at The Flying Fish Restaurant, Mount Cinnamon Resort. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that set the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were attentive throughout my visit. They offered great recommendations from the menu and seemed genuinely passionate about the food they serve, which added to the overall experience. Thanks !

   We had a very tasty meal- lovely table on the balcony. Live entertainment with a grand piano playing beautiful background music. Our waiter and the front of house team were very attentive. It was one of the tastiest meals we’ve had this trip .

   This restaurant was a really great surprise. We spent 3 days in the island and here we have the best dinner overall. In the background a beautiful lady singing by the pool, the service was very good, and the food, the food, the soup of the day, carrot, ginger and coconut was delicious and my dish in particular, Jamaican chicken (by the way I never ask for chicken in a restaurant) was the best chicken ever, so flavorful, it amazed me. Everyone at the table was very pleased with their food. If we return to Grenada, we’ll come back again!!

   Everything was excellent. The servers Ceccile and mayah were amazing . we will definitely be there again.

   Made a reservation for Flying Fish and they booked us Instead for Savvys without notifying us as there is not even a dinner service at the Flying Fish on Fridays. They were extremely disorganized, didn't have a table for us and had to wait 30 minutes just for a drink. The food was lukewarm, like it had been sitting a hotbox, ordered the banana cabana with fudge pieces and brought two scoops of nutmeg ice cream with and insisted it was the same thing. Upon leaving, asked 4 times for them to call a cab and it took 40 minutes.

   Best restaurant we visited in Grenada so far. Excellent Caribbean dishes, responsive staff, good cocktails.

   We were familiar with the restaurant from when it was Saavy and was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful as is the setting. When we arrived we were seated immediately. We realized quickly the chairs were extremely uncomfortable and not restaurant chairs. It took some time for us to be greeted by our food server. We gave a drink order but it took quite a long time to arrive. We were given menus and noticed the selection was small and not with many options you would expect on a tropical island. It took almost 30 min to get our starters. They were okay but not excellent. It then was almost another 40 min for our entrees to come. They were tasty for most part but 1. Not as flavorful as you would expect and small portions for the cost of the meals. You don’t mind cost when the value is there. It was another 20 min to get desserts which were underwhelming. We are in Grenada on a regular basis and enjoy dining in the large number of restaurants on the island. I am not sure if we will give this a second chance. .

   I’m not sure what type of operation is being run at Mt Cinnamon. We had a reservation set in advance for breakfast for 17 people at 9AM, when we arrived at the restaurant we were advised that they could not find our booking because it was made online. It is useful to note that we actually made the reservation over the phone and even called to confirm two days prior. We were seated at 10:30AM, the food, although not particularly tasty was served relatively fast. The service was not the best however we must thank the manager who is probably the only reason that we got seated as the servers could not care less that we were waiting over an hour. I would say spend your money elsewhere. Our chances of returning are slim to none.
