Curiously nestled behind an enigmatic mural in Midtown, behind a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it door stands Sei Less, a newly minted Asian fusion restaurant. With close proximity to Madison Square Garden and the Garment District, Sei Less is the new hot spot that all fiveboroughs will be talking about.

Designed for evenings of enviable cuisine and distinctive revelry, the spacefeatures seating for 350 guests juxtaposed with a meticulously curatedcollection of modern art and clean lines, alongside traditional, hand carved Asian design elements in an homage to the architectural pagodas ofgenerations’ past.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while, went for my birthday. Service was good, nice atmosphere, food was very disappointing and way overpriced for it to be so. The fried rice was good but the chicken wontons used actual chicken sausage and tasted terrible (sent back) as did the pastrami egg rolls. Hardly any lobster in the lobster fried rice. Gratuity is already added in each bill. I probably won’t be returning.

Nice hospitality; from the moment we walked in they greeted us. The vibes were great.

Went NYE 2025 and the vibes were great! Our server was amazing!! I loved it. Definitely will be back soon:)

Upmarket prices for greasy takeout served on a plate instead of cardboard box. The atmosphere is great for dates but the food was average. The meal size hot & sour soup did have a kick and the most edible thing was the crab fried rice. But the greasy pok choy was overcooked/soggy and the dumplings were drowned in so much oil they were worse than microwave dumplings at the frozen food aisle.

Ambience is fantastic, restaurant was busy. Chinese was a light option before we fly home , didn't want another steak. Food we ate was very good but felt menu was a bit limited. Kids found it difficult to get a course. Server was fantastic though.

Food was excellent. Service was very good. I didn't like that even for a party of two they included a gratuity (and didn't say anything about it) and then left the percentages to tip another 18/20/22 percent. Plus, they came around taking photos and trying to sell them to you in little frames. It's a restaurant, not a cruise ship (or disney)

My Christmas dinner experience was great from the food to the service. Alex was an extremely attentive and a great waiter.

While the aesthetic of the restaurant is nice, at this time of my reservation the entire restaurant smelled like marijuana smoke. I even asked the waiter if the restaurant is a smoking restaurant, but I got the impression that in the private rooms anything goes. If you’re looking for a classy dining experience, this certainly isn’t it.
