   Selby's was great experience for us. The ambience was very nice. The food was delicious. While there were not a lot of vegetairan options, the few that were on the menu, were totally worth it. The quanity is more than sufficient. While it is definitely on the pricier end, it's totally worth the experience.

   Ashley was our server. Extreme pro!!! She took great care of us. Expert on all the food with great recommendations. I had the duck (amazing) my wife had the petite filet(amazing). Cooked to perfection. Cocktails were outstanding. I had a martini and a paper airplane. The dessert was off the charts. We had chocolate cake and passion fruit tart. Definitely going again. We also chatted with Sam one of the managers and he let us know that the bar also has an excellent menu. We lived every second.

   I loved the ambiance, the decor, the valet parking, and just the overall upscale experience! The bread was akin to a Yorkshire pudding, very unique, and the beef Wellington was perfect—the meat was so tender and chewable, without a strand of connective tissue. The honey lacquer duck breast was also very nice—the sauce and the garnishes were the highlights. However, unlike the beef, the duck had quite a bit of connective tissues and was difficult to cut and chew sometimes. They have some unique choices of desserts, though I wish we could order them at the end of our meal instead of at the beginning. I enjoyed my profiterole very much though. The service was impeccable. Very courteous and attentive staff. Excellent wait times for food. And the valets were so helpful and friendly. Overall, if you want a refined and upscale (but not overly extravagant) dining experience, I think Selby’s would be a great choice.

   Always have a great time at Selbys. Food is great. Services are excellent. A must go at all time

    Selby’s is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The lovely, quiet ambiance allows your party to relax and enjoy conversation. You’re greeted outside by the valet and the greeting continues as you check in. The hostess leads you to your table where you’re met by your server who walks you through the fixed price menu. Make no mistake. This restaurant is pricey but the excellent service, delicious food, and extensive wine list make your evening unforgettable. There is also a full bar. The chef sends out a special amuse-bouche to start your meal. We enjoyed the pear and endive salad, petite fillet, lobster, beef Wellington, fruit tart and chocolate cake. Everything was well prepared and presented beautifully. This restaurant located at the edge of Atherton feels like you’re dining in the best SF restaurant.
