Serafina Restaurant Group was conceived when Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato made a pact while traumatically lost at sea. The two friends agreed to open a restaurant serving the best pizza and pasta in the world if they were to survive the ordeal. In 1995, they fulfilled their promise by launching the highly acclaimed Serafina Fabulous Pizza. Following the success of their first location, they have gone on to open numerous locations worldwide!

In 2008, they opened Brasserie Cognac in the Theater District where Chef Florian V. Hugo, a great-great-great grandson of poet Victor Hugo, serves fine French cuisine. Vittorio and Fabio energetically guarantee comfort, excitement and fabulous food at every location!

Een dag voor kerst geboekt en nog eenntafel voor 5 kunnen reserven. We hebben niet lang hoeven wachten op onze tafel. Bediening was snel en vriendelijk. Tevens werd het eten ook al snel gereserveerd en was erg lekker. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding ook top.

Excellent meal on a busy Valentines Day holiday. We visited the Weat 105th St location. The Branzino with cherry tomatoes was prepared perfect as was the Gnocchi.

We have eaten at Serafina 105 several times and it continues to be a reliable source of good Italian food. Last week we went on a quiet night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the service, and the mood of the place. Their lasagna is among the best we have enjoyed on the UWS, and I especially like their "Al Pacino" pasta, which is simple but nicely flavored and very tasty. The meals are affordable and the service friendly.

We like the Serafina at 105th St because we can converse with our friends while enjoying a good meal. Except for the TV screens (too bad they got on that bandwagon), the restaurant is attractive and sedate compared with many other places. We spent two hours there yesterday and never had to strain to hear our interesting companions.

I went with my wife for our wedding anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was warm and friendly the waiters were welcoming. Everything we ordered was on point and the portions were satisfactory. Their food was excellent. And I would visit again and definitely recommend.

We booked an early dinner for New Year's eve for 4 adults and a baby - the staff were very helpful, the food was delicious and we enjoyed the chance for a pre-fireworks outing! Serafina is reliably very good - excellent cocktails, a great wine list and a lovely selection of Italian stalwarts. A great neighborhood place on the Upper West Side.

Horrible experience after frequenting this restaurant for many years. Mismanaged and only served half the table entrees leaving four to five guests mintlybkids on top of it waiting for meals for an extremely long Time while the other half of the table of that wa ela mist finished ... with all kinds of excuses and no proper professional management at any level. I will avoid this olace as much as possible
