Sette has always been a solid restaurant but since the renovation it just keeps getting better and better. It is a great value, tops in DC!

I had the scallops with beans and mushrooms. Tasted really good except my scallops were a little under cook for my taste. Others enjoy their dinner. Spaghetti and meatballs, parmesan chicken delicious

Service was excellent as the night picked up service was a slower which is to be expected. Dined outside ambience was very nice. They had fire warmers and yellow lighting, which I enjoyed. Food was delicious. Cocktails were tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the Moraxpress cocktail. Overall, I enjoyed the experience definitely will return.

For a nice DC restaurant (of which I've been to a few lately) it was actually a value pick. Upscale, great Italian food without quite the price tag of a few others. And I appreciated that I didn't have to put down a credit card to get the reservation!! While we were, unfortunately, seated outside in somewhat chilly air, there was a heater & blankets - not quite sufficient, but not miserable. Noise level inside was challenging while we waited for everyone to arrive - leaving that was the tradeoff for the chill in the air, as we enjoyed the dinner. Happy hour menu is likely to draw us back to try.

The food was really good! There were large parties there so it was kind of loud. The restaurant seemed short staffed but the servers worked really hard and were great despite not having enough hands.

The kitchen at Sette Osteria has bounced back. The grilled squid appetizer was especially good. The interval between appetizer and main was a bit long, but the dishes were worth the wait. The outdoor space is very pleasant.

The homemade pastas were the favorite at our table. I had the gnocchi in a gorgonzola cream sauce and the special risotto with asparagus and scallops. The fried zucchini and calamari was delightful. Quality selection of wines by the glass. We had a robust Sicilian red.
