   Very cosy setting. The afternoon tea was good but not exceptional. The service was OK but a bit annoying that the server removed china etc without asking of we were done.

   The ambience was lovely, the tea a superb value and the service attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea.

   Great service and very nice location. The Christmas cake selection wasn't the best but the scones and sandwiches were great.

   A favourite that we return to every year for afternoon tea! Even rustled up a couple of special bits as I’m not a fan of dried fruit! Superb food and service as always!

   Excellent high tea and incredibly affordable! Bit dissapointed, attended today and for a prestigious venue it was unfortunately overrun by flying bugs/midgies which made the experience extremely unpleasant.

   I found the amount of flies totally unacceptable in the eating area and around the food. It made the experience very unpleasant. The staff did their best to manage the situation and I do not blame them but the back area of seating in the restaurant needs to be fumigated, heating turned down or simply closed to diners. There were flies everywhere on the walls, table, dead on window sills and swarming on the food. Also the booking included a glass of champagne which was not honoured by the restaurant.

   It was a very elegant high tea experience, the tea was great and the food was delicious. We were served in great style, we loved the experience!

    Too many fly around you . Who will expect a in 5star hotel you will get this terrible experience.
