"Iran is a country with a diverse geography and ethnic population. It sits at the centre of the former Kingdom of Persia, one of the world’s oldest continuous major civilisations. Iran forms a bridge between the Middle East and the Far East in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, a major trading route which goes back tens of thousands of years.

Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes.

    Been here many times and the food is always amazing. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and went out of their way to make my partner, who is a celiac, feel comfortable and confident the food was served in a celiac-friendly manner. Generous portions, perfectly grilled meats and savoury dips, Shiraz is our favourite place to eat on the Gold Coast.

    Fantastic food, drinks and service! Great value for money, food was really quick to come out. Cocktails were great, beers were cold. We couldnt ask for a better dinner for adults and kids. And its great value for money.

    Lovely atmosphere lovely food. Would have been great if the waitress told us what the food was. We booked online for Valentine’s Day. Way too much food in the banquet. Would have been cheaper if we just paid when we were there. Definitely worth checking out.

    The food was delicious & plentiful. Very generous portions. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was cool with air conditioning inside with plenty of outdoor tables. Fairly priced too.

    This was our second visit in a week and cannot express how amazing the food is here. (chef's kiss) Our first visit the food was still as good but the services was a little less so and we gave them that feedback which they took on board as the service this visit was exceptional. Highly recommend. :-)
