Food was good especially the pan fried dumplings. Service a bit spotty and not super friendly. I am sure this restaurant was great back in the day but the food similar to other restaurants at a higher price point. Conveniently located for a meal before heading over the Metropolitan Opera.

Food was ok… not great. Limited menu and no deviations. Service was fast but not attentive to water, tea, etc. was not busy but served as fast as during a rush. So good if you have to make a show.. too rushed if you want to relax. Passable food…,

The manager is as rude as they come. The food is overpriced and worse than at any Panda Express in any mall anywhere in America. The floors are covered in grime. While we were there, in walked a ‘regular customer,’ a grossly overweight, dishevelled old white man who staggered to his table and dismissed the waiter with, ‘Oh get me someone who speaks English!’ Many other racist slurs followed. The manager finally showed up and rather than escorting this distinguished gentleman to the door, he took his order and proceeded to bark at his own waiters. That’s when the fun really began. The customer began coughing really loudly and hawking phlegm (I wish I was exaggerating!) in the middle of the dining room. That is when we asked for our food to go and left. The manager did not offer us a single word of apology. I guess he prefers a ‘regular’ old racist pig who insults his fellow countrymen than a young family that had come to dine there for the first time. Needless to say, we shall never be returning to this so-called institution whose reputation will soon be in the same state as their carpet, which hasn’t been vacuumed since 1965.

We enjoyed the steamed shrimp dumpling appetizer. But the sweet and sour chicken was just OK and the seafood combination with wine sauce was very bland.
