Located on Restaurant Row in the heart of Manhattan in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood and Theater District, Sicily Osteria is a dining destination that appeals to local residents and office workers, as well as Broadway theatergoers. The restaurant offers several dining experiences, from its more formal main dining room that exudes a rustic elegance enhanced by vintage green walls, exposed brick, custom tiled floor and white tablecloths. It's front dining room features an expansive bar, perfect for casual dining; plus, several bistro-style tables; and in the far back, a spacious, naturally lit, enclosed patio garden and atrium transports guests to a lush garden oasis.

                                                                                    Veal Marsalia served with mashed potatoes!? 🤷‍♂️😳 And, refusing to substitute with spaghetti!? Or, allow you a side of spaghetti. Food was ok, service was excellent, but I wouldn’t go there again because of their inflexibility to the point of rudeness. Then again, maybe it’s just New York.

                                                                                    Wonderful restaurant! We had a reservation for 6:30, but arrived about an hour early after over estimating travel time from a play we attended. They were very busy when we arrived and I expected to be told to come back at our scheduled reservation time. Instead we were promptly escorted to a table. Pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and excellent service. We will definitely go back on our next trip to NYC!

                                                                                    The service was very poor. We sat for at least 20min before they even took an order from us, all we got was water. They provided the table of 6 with 4 rolls and when we requested more so everyone got one, we were told they were out, however we saw them getting delivered to other tables. Once ordered, we waited for drinks, but the appetizers and dinners were delivered timely. We asked for parmigiana cheese, and were told they’d bring it but they never did…maybe they ran out of that as well?! Food was average at best. Disappointing meal.

                                                                                    I was disappointed in Sicily in several areas. I had asked for a Kentucky Mule cocktail and was told, the ONLY cocktails they serve are listed in the menu (about 9 drinks listed). Yet they had bourbon and ginger beer. What place only serves 9 cocktails? We ordered for appetizer the bake clams and eggplant meatballs. Eggplant was excellent. Baked clams were not tasty at all. For our main, we both order the veal scallipino. I can only say, it was just OK. I expected better (and I have had much better at other restaurants) To finish my meal, I asked for a double espresso. Was told they could not do it as the espresso machine was broken. What a disappointment. I wanted to try a new place this time . .should have stuck with my old standard which was only a couple blocks away. I won't be going back to Sicily.

                                                                                    The food at Sicily was delicious. I’d definitely go again. My large party ordered a variety of dishes and each person loved what they ate. Service was mediocre and could have been more attentive.
