A modern Australian steakhouse with a warm country spirit, Six Acres Restaurant aspires to deliver outstanding ‘paddock to plate’ cuisine. A classically simple menu showcasing the finest seasonal ingredients ensures optimum flavour, with a focus on fresh, premium, local produce all masterfully prepared and served.

Six Acres Restaurant is led by our Executive Chef Francesco Trucco, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from years in the industry.

Our bottomless Sparkling Buffet Breakfast is also available daily from 6.30 – 10.30am, making it the ideal breakfast or brunch meeting spot for friends, family and business.

We booked for the theatre of magic valentine day dinner. We have previously seen theatre of magic so knew that would be excellent - the restaurant is lovely, staff are excellent, we did find it a bit noisy however will know to ask for a table next to the window or in the booths next time. Food was great I felt it was a lot for two people however we are not big eaters, maybe when doing this again, have all the courses as shared. Could not fault the food though it was all very tasty and presented well. We will definitely come back for a meal.

Absolutely spectacular meal. We came here for a Christmas buffet lunch and were gobsmacked at how every single element was cooked perfectly. The prawns, salads, baked fish, ham… all so tasty. We concluded that the chefs here must be so experienced, they’ve mastered every dish. The service was also top notch, warm and polite. And just as my 4 year old started to lose patience, out came Santa with personalised gifts for all the children! Her mood changed quickly haha. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially their Christmas lunch.

As a Steak house, Six Acres is perfect. Well presented, steaks cooked to perfection with great sauces. The sides were also delicious. We’ll be back.

The layout of the Restaurant was terrific the food was of a good standard particularly the sides matching the Grill menu.

As Theatre of Magic ticket holders, we were offered a two course or three course meal deal, which represented good value. Food was good, with service mostly so, dropping off somewhat as the meal progressed, waitstaff taking somewhat longer to remove our first course plates.

From the attentive and downright lovely staff, who knew the food well, to the best meals we have had in a looooong time. They catered for my wife's allergies and made the night amazing. Thankyou team and we will most definitely be back. You make it a great reason to stay at the Rydges when we are back in Brissy.

Lovely restaurant. Service was slow which was strange for a Saturday night, but attentive. If I could tell everyone to try one thing from this restaurant it would be the 'brown butter bernaise". Oh my stars it is outstanding, absolutely outstanding.

What an absolutely incredible evening once again at Six Acres. My husband & I celebrated his birthday with a quiet dinner by the window. We ordered the Sourdough bread & trio of dips for entre and we ordered the Eye Fillet steaks for mains that were cooked to perfection! We also got the creamy mash ans chefs sauce of the day! We couldn't fault anything. It was stunning. We enjoyed the beer and Espresso Martinis. Standards were met. Just an incredible dining experience. Every interaction was a pleasure and the effort from the staff showed. They really care! They love their job. Thet were more than happy to serve and cater to us. That's how we felt. That's how service should be. It's so appreciated.
