Een beetje een tegenvaller! Wij hadden er veel van verwacht maar de service is niet wat je verwacht en het eten is matig. Niet slecht maar de verwachtingen lager hoger. En er is erg veel lawaai. Sommige obers kennen het vak maar kunnen niet alles alleen.

Overall a pleasant Saturday afternoon family birthday lunch, but unfortunately the music wasn't "energetic" (as described in the survey), it was TOO LOUD. As someone with hearing problems, this was unhelpful. We all had to shout at each other instead of being able to chat. Food and drink was lovely, and the staff very helpful, although having taken our wine away to keep safe (from being knocked over by people walking past), they could have topped up our glasses more regularly.

Great combination of quality food, impeccable service, nice ambience, live music and wonderful views of the Thames.

The duck salad was very tasty. Service was good and we loved the live music in the background. The Mains were nice aswell but, 6.50 for a portion of fries is a bit much though.

Another terrific evening on our way to the 7.30 RFH concert. Four of us. All delighted with food and service. We allowed almost two hours. (5.30- 7.15 left the table) Thanks.

Service and food was good but the heating had broken so we were quite cold - staff apologised but it did take from the evening

On paper, this looked like an attractive menu with something for everyone. Perhaps £5 extra for bread and butter should have been a clue. The portions were ridiculously tiny: £25 for a fish pie that came in a dolls house dish, and £19 for a smallish plate of 'linguini with cockles and crab containing 5 cockles and a teaspoonful of crab meat. The 'creamed spinach' (£7) was a small handful of bag baby spinach with a bit of cream stirred through. We were going to a concert in the Hall, and had told them so, but we had to get up and find somebody to order our puddings: two icecreams, which we were told took no time to prepare but in fact took so long that we didn't have time to finish them. I know Skylon has a captive market and - for those who get a window seat - nice views, but to me that doesn't justify these prices.

Lovely views which is why we booked Food great value and reasonably priced Service maybe a little slow for some but we were happy. Our waitress, Britney, was charming!
