    Een beetje een tegenvaller! Wij hadden er veel van verwacht maar de service is niet wat je verwacht en het eten is matig. Niet slecht maar de verwachtingen lager hoger. En er is erg veel lawaai. Sommige obers kennen het vak maar kunnen niet alles alleen.

    We waited a while (way over 45 mins) for our food. We ordered the Sunday roast beef. I have no idea what had happened to the beef but it seemed as if the slices had been fried. We mostly ate the food as we were, after the long wait, very hungry. The waiter did give us complementary desserts and removed the cost of my friends meal as she had left her meat. I think the adjustment to the bill was fair but we were very disappointed in the experience and cannot recommend the place.

    This will be fourth visit to the restaurant. I probably won't return. The service was extremely slow. The table where we were sat was the furthest from door in a very cold corner. Some tables have table cloths and others don't, no consistency. Dessert took ages due to the ticket getting lost. The churros was limp and overcooked. I would be embarrased by this if this left the kitchen.The food was overpriced and bland. So much staff wandering around but no clue what they are doing. This was supposed to be a celebration, but was over shadowed by the terrible service.

    Poor welcome by pretentious personnel. I booked 1 week in advance for a celebtation and requested a window table. On arrival 15 minutes early ,there were no tables available and i was told,rather abruptly, its first come first served.What is the point of your special requests questionnaire?Starters served 3 minutes after cocktails served...did you want us to hurry up? Waiter service was discreet but felt begrudging and not at all joyful. Food was good as were the cocktails. The way our ticket for the cloakroom was taken and our coats presented could not have been done less gracefully. When I invité people to dinner I don't expect to be welcomed by a primadonna with a superior attitude. I am the client and require a minimum of respect. We enjoyed our food and the architecture but not your staff. I won't be coming back soon

    It was a lacklustre visit. Food was OK but not amazing and from a value point of view wasn't great. We must have caught the team members on an off night, there wasn't a smile from our main server and they gave the impression we were not their focus. The Host was curt and a little off hand (not rude) just seemed under pressure. In a venue charging £40 per head it's more forgivable but at nearly £80 per head, it's the small things that create the value. As a balance at the end of the evening they celebrated my partners birthday which was a lovely touch and without prompt. Would I go again? Most probably not as I don't know where it sits. As an expensive treat it doesn't compare to the likes of the Swan and Sea containers and it's to expensive to be an off the cuff casual diner. Go for the view and the surroundings (be warned its loud) , food is fine just not amazing and hope that the staff are having a better day.

    Great welcome, fantastic table by window, food well presented and good flavours. Meals of an appropriate size - we don’t like overfilled plates, so the servings were just right.
