Service was unremarkable and food OK. I appreciate that they let us linger over our meal, but overall not feeling a return here any time soon.

                                                                                                          Came here last week as a walk in, food and service was amazing, as well as last night . However, last week we noticed a man in a hat falling asleep at a table next to us. Tonight, the same man was just standing in the middle of the restaurant staring at people. We assume he is the manager or something, regardless it was very uncomfortable and strange. We won’t be returning for a third time.

The food and service is always excellent…I appreciate the chefs’ tweaking recipes in their quest for improving diners’ experience. I am now a regular!

                                                                                                          The reservation on OT gave option of doing price fixe menu at restaurant. I did not opt for set menu. When we arrived- that was only option. Smaller place, average food, not great service- average at best. Won’t hurry back with so many options in NYC. Looks like they have outdoor space in nice weather

                                                                                                          We came at 7pm on a Friday (made a reservation) before the place got filled… and by 8pm is was hopping. From the look of it everyone was having a great time. It’s a cozy dark interior made to be more intimate than many brighter spots. Lots of “regulars.” Service was super attentive without being on top of you. Even the “bus boys” were gracious and concerned if you were enjoying everything. The food: Salads and soups were delicious, abundant and nicely presented. Bronzino and pasta were delicious (although the ravioli could have been warmer). All delicious. The point being: screw ordering in. Go out. Go to Sojour.
