   This hidden gem in Cathedral City surprised me with the blending of this historic adobe amongst the mid-century vibe of the hotel. Ever more surprising was the creativity of the chef with the amazing tapas selection (you must try the generously sized empanadas and deviled eggs), However, your visit here must include one of the three featured paella dishes. The staff was cordial and attentive, but most impressive was watching the executive chef delivery her creations to your table with a big smile. We will definitely be back for more.

   The paella is worth the wait! And the cocktails are very expertly crafted. Highly recommend checking this place out!

   The tapas we tried were very delicious. The paella was pretty good. The rice was cooked properly, the meat and seafood were good. It wasn't as well seasoned as I would have hoped. It was oddly missing saffron. The service was very good. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

   Went back after a long interval to find both food and service were as good as remembered. Had 3 tapas, potatoes brava, brussel sprouts with sausage, and really tasty dates. All 3 were good and more than enough for 4. Followed with the mixed paella. The large size is plenty for 4. Prices felt very fair …the big paella split 4 ways is a modest main course item.

   Outstanding food in an atmospheric setting beside the fireplace. Live music wafting in from the poolside patio. Shared appetizers: chicken, croquettes, patatas bravas. Spanish wine. Daniel our server was attentive and helpful. A hidden gem. Will come back.

   Authentic Spanish food. Great service and great food. DOrdered a lot of Tapas items, as Paella takes 40 minutes, which tells me this is authentic and fresh!

   The ambiance varies depending on where you are seated. Outside is nice, inside has two dining rooms of which one has great ambiance with décor, a fireplace, etc, the other is much less inviting. The service was great, our server was knowledgeable, gave us just the right amount of attention, and even gave us the history of the building. The food was variable. The seafood paella has excellent quality seafood. Some reviewers have mentioned the amount of seafood being sparse, but we would gladly trade off a little less quantity for great quality. The rice was crisped on the sides, but not on the bottom, so not truly authentic. The empanada are about 80% corn masa, 20% filling, which is very sparse on the filling. Also, this makes them a very heavy entrée without a ton of taste. We would not order these again.
