Cooking is my CREDO, looking for being on top, always

I am a professional Chef with more than 40 years of experience in the culinary world, all over many Countries. I am actually based in Manhattan - NY, where I manage my own company. In Italy I have been working in my restaurant for 17 years where I was awarded of my first MICHELIN STAR in 2007. I am really fond of fine dining and high end food.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner last night at Sola Osteria. The chef and staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable . We ordered the cauliflower, tagliatelle, squid ink pasta and braised short ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious. Pasta portions are on the smaller side, but executed perfectly. Would highly recommend for a date night or dinner with friends.

We had a great experience dining here for the first time. Wide selections on the menu with options not typically seen at the standard Italian restaurants, which was nice. Everything we had was great and nice to be able to bring our own wine. The service was also friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and recommend!

Everything was amazing. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Every item was fantastic, and we really appreciated the fact that that the chef introduced himself and thanked us for coming out. We had the zucchini and eggplant antipasto, and both were stellar. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sauce on the zucchini was the perfect vessel for our bread. We ordered the gnocchi and fettucine for our next courses, and we couldn't decide which one we like the most. One of the best gnocchi dishes I have had and the fettuccine was a perfect al dente with the right about of ragu and cheese. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which I have to say was easily the best chocolate mousse I have ever tasted. We literally could not think of one thing about our experience that was less then perfect. We will definitely be back and with friends.

Sola osteria was an amazing experience. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Such a gem for Ridgewood. We will definitely be back!

Second time here. The food is all excellently prepared and tasty. Great service, friendly staff. Bring your own bottle and enjoy.

A wonderful dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious - you could taste all the ingredients - perfectly complementing eachother, and the chef visits every table to make sure you are enjoying your meal. We’ll be back soon!

We had a great experience at Sola! The food was delicious, especially this cauiliflower appetizer - I could have eaten double the portion it was so good. Fish was great as was the gnocchi. Lovely service! We will definitely come back
