The atmosphere was beautiful. It was an awesome chance to meet new people and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The live band with Angela Fletcha was perfect for the evening. The problem came at the end of the evening with the checks. Though we paid the gratuity when we paid for the tickets ($25), we were charged another gratuity fee ($35), at the end of the event, which I didn't understand. The service was excellent, but the checks at the end of the evening were confusing. We were offered water, not knowing there was a fee for it. It was not included with the meal. Also, we had the choice to purchase drinks paired with our meal, but the drinks came out late so we were not able to enjoy the drinks with the meal they were paired with. I would recommend the event, but pay close attention to all of the added fees.

Hotel security looked at as we were homeless and the host didn’t even acknowledge us until our party addressed them in Spanish. Food was good, service sucked on every single level.

Overall the food was pretty good. Do not expect to be cared for by any waitstaff outside of getting you water, taking order and delivering food. They didn’t stop in to check from time to time. We had to constantly flag someone down to get any assistance. Being basically next to the pool, it was a bit noisy and people walking by to get to the pool. Not the outdoor experience I was thinking it would be, but that’s on me for not really paying attention to the description.

Great food! Margarita was medium but the froze was fantastic! Highly recommend the wagyu appetizer, the tuna appetizer, and the iberico main dish.

Fantastic experience dining poolside at Solera. We had the absolute best Chicken Cobb salad we ever tasted, just perfect. Would highly recommend.
