We had dinner in the lounge on a quiet Monday. Well spaced tables and a peaceful atmosphere. Service was friendly and calmly professional. Bottomless mussels with fries and in house bread was a bargain and a treat. Sablefish scored high marks by my dining partner. Desert was original and outstanding in taste and proportion. Wine prices not bad and modest but good selection.

Smaller cozy room with open fireplace. Made us feel welcome with excellent service from beginning to end. Joanne and staff professional with suggestion on right wine & food choices. It’s early days yet for this reopening looking forward fully operational in main dining room.

The location is beautiful and the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was wonderful and we had a three course meal starting with the oyster appetizer which was exquisite. The main dish was excellent and for dessert we had what looked like a forest bed with a beautiful white and red mushroom cap. It looked surreal and tasted incredibly good. The service was nothing but excellent. Definitely worth a return visit.

We drive by Sooke Harbour House fairly often and decided to give it a try for brunch on my husband's birthday. I am so happy we did. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed by very nice attentive staff. our food was delicious. My husband had the classic eggs benedict and I had the West Coast Continental. Both were amazing. I felt price was very fair. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Our first time back since the closure - was not disappointed with the menu, nor the food - was superb - great presentation and taste. Ambiance-was a little disappointed - loved the old look, thus new look is somewhat sterile, resembling any run of the mill hotel & dining room.

Very good experience, great to see this property open again. Steak and sablefish were both perfect. The setting is magnificent, we will go back again for a brunch to experience it in the daytime.
