The food was amazing and this will quickly become the top Dining location on the mountain. The rustic decor reminds you that you are sitting high on top of a snowy mountain. The service was phenomenal the best part of the evening was definitely the food. We had starters, main and dessert and all were fabulous. The wine selection was perfect for the dishes served. Although the food/service was more upscale than other places on the mountain you could still come in casual and dressed for the mountain and not feel out of place. Reservations would probably be suggested as it started to fill up quickly. So excited to have this new restaurant at Big White.

My husband and I dined at Sopra for the first time last night and it won’t be the last! The food is delicious and good value for money. Izzy our server was fantastic and made our evening very enjoyable. We were celebrating a milestone and she added a candle to our tiramisu to commemorate which was a lovely touch. Liam the bartender also created a mocktail for me which was delicious; ask for the “Hayley’s Comet” you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant in the village. We indulged as adults enjoying three delicious courses. The kids loved the selection suitable for them also. We will be back again.

We had a great dinner with excellent service. Ordered the calamari, pancetta and mushroom flatbread and the braised short rib. Everything was cooked perfect and full of flavour.

We had a wonderful evening; staff was very friendly and responsive; food was excellent. The mussels (an appetizer special) were outstanding. It was a fair price for an excellent dinner.

Exceptional experience! Waitress was exceptional, food was exceptional, we LOVED it! 1st time visiting BigWhite and this was hands down the best meal……..on par with Toronto’s(our home) best. Highly recommend!

The service was great, they accommodated a late change so that our party could arrive earlier and eat in time to catch the gondola. Food was delicious. The only thing that could have been better were that they were out of quite a few wines perhaps given the busy holiday season. We had a couple of people with dietary restrictions and it would be great to see more dishes with gluten free options and less dishes with pork for those who do not eat that meat. There were more dishes than not with sausage or salami or ground pork involved. The place has only been own three weeks and these are changes that perhaps can come with time, otherwise it was great and we really enjoyed it.
