Situated in the very centre of London’s main shopping area, the Spaghetti House restaurant has a position many lesser restaurants would kill for. Nestled between Oxford Street and Bond Street, it has long served as a favourite rest stop for starving shoppers rushing between Selfridges and John Lewis to splash out on high end buys. In keeping with its fashion hungry clientele, Spaghetti House is chicly decorated, right down to its Fornasetti wallpaper, and has a relaxed but buzzing atmosphere. The food meanwhile is the Spaghetti House standard of high quality Italian fare – imaginative pasta, traditionally crisp pizzas and sophisticated meat and seafood dishes as well as healthy fresh salads and a fantastic wine list.

                    Good food with good service. Pizza could’ve been cooked for longer. Carbonara could’ve had less cooking time. Overall we enjoyed it though.

                    All the food was well prepared and the service was outstanding but not intrusive. Friendly waiter seemed to have a genuine smile and was very attentive. The dessert I had was the panacotta which had no nice wobble - but other than that very small complaint the food was delicious.

                    Not the restaurants fault but the Police helicopter was hovering overhead for most of the meal which affected the ambience some what!! Otherwise a nice pre-theatre meal with good choices for my son.

                    I arrived and asked for the table under my name and they did not have our reservation. I showed them my confirmation on the app, and they still did not know we had a reservation. We then had to wait over 20 mins for a table. It was very disappointing. The service was not quick at all once we sat down, and we needed to be somewhere by 9:30pm. Several of our dishes came out nearly cold from the kitchen. Overall, not a great experience and would not go back.

                    My lobster spaghetti was delicious a special during the summer, I loved it and a friend loved her spaghetti bolognese, however my partners pizza was very ‘industrial’ not one of the best he’s had and he was disappointed. House carafe of white wine was good / overall good value but stick to the pasta
