Tiny portions for the price of the food. Choices were ok, could do with more large choice for those that don’t want to share dishes.

Fantastic find literally opposite King’s Cross station! Really lovely food and excellent friendly service, lots of recommendations provided on request. Food was high quality and fresh. Highly recommend !

If this place hadn’t been on OpenTable, I wouldn’t have given it a second look. The signage isn’t great, and the décor extremely off-putting; it seems it’s ‘retro-futuristic’ – pretentious, much? But we wouldn’t have cared if they’d made us stand to eat. This amazing little bistro serves up some of the finest Italian meals we’ve ever eaten – and we have eaten many, many 100s. Nice welcome, from very efficient and friendly staff – the kind that are genuinely pleased to serve you fabulous food. Starers: crab canollo, white crab meat, and clementine, for all of us. Superb, packed with exquisite flavours and assembled with love. Mains: rigatoni, ‘nduja, cacio ricotta, for me – just the right amount of heat; perfectly cooked. For the husband – who is obsessed with carbonara – the agnolotti, guanciale, and pecorino. The last time we had agnoletti [in Italy] they were not a patch on these delicate little beauties. Our guest had mafalde, slow-cooked beef, and pecorino, and said it was the best meal she’d had, anywhere, ever. They had space for desserts; a quirky [or brave] gorgonzola cheesecake, pear, with rum jelly, which was certainly interesting. And a coconut mousse, chocolate, and caramelised fig, which looked very fancy and tasted subline. I’d have ‘drunk my dessert’ and had a grappa, but sad to see, there were none on the drinks menu. We did share a bottle pinot grigio, which was very good. We’ll be back – and we’ll sit near the open kitchen again; we love seeing magicians at work.........
