A sky-high urban hideaway located on the rooftop of The Dalmar, Sparrow Fort Lauderdale offers guests a one-of-a-kind cocktail and culinary experience in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Sparrow is anchored by both a main bar and lounge indoors, and an outdoor bar with a mix of city and ocean views, both boasting deliciously inventive menus. Sparrow’s cocktail program includes a range of selections from easy-drinking aperitifs to tropical riffs on classics and large format group offerings, while the scratch ingredient-driven food program consists of creative, shareable plates.

This is our first to The Dalmar, where Sparrow occupies the entire 25th floor. If you are planning to join the fun and it’s your first visit, Sparrow is only accessible from the ground floor. We did Happy Hour and were surprised at how large and wonderful the Chicken Skewers were. So much, I forgot to take a picture. I regained my composure and did catch photos of the Bang Bang Tacos and Pork Bao Buns. Even their Prosecco is first rate. Ask for Michelle; she did great!

Food was not that good and the music was blasting the whole time. Had a 9pm dinner reservation and couldn’t listen to my date.

Great happy hour prices. Drinks were well balanced. The outdoor patio was great even on a cooler evening. Wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Food could’ve been better, service was terrible. The ambiance and DJ is what’s saved this place. Probably wouldn’t go back unless it was for cocktails at the outside bar.

This place was very nice and I’d like to return. I would try different food next time. I ordered the snapper, it was plain no seasoning not even salt and pepper yet it was cook nicely… the brussel sprouts were amazing they had more flavor than the snapper. I also had two cucumber martinis that were really tasty! The service was great and so was the ambience.

Great place for drinks and food with friends. We arrived and were greeted very nicely and was given a nice table. The server was great.

I recently visited this restaurant for a casual dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. The sofa seating was far too low and soft, making it quite uncomfortable. Sitting there was absolutely awful. The hostess was rude, short, and had a bad attitude. When we asked to move due to a fan, she flat-out refused, even though the place was nearly empty. Thankfully, the manager intervened, and we were eventually moved to a table with a sofa and chair. Unfortunately, the sofa seating was still not great. On the positive side, our server was excellent—attentive and professional. However, the food itself was just average, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, while the service from our server was a highlight, the poor seating, unhelpful hostess, and mediocre food made for a disappointing experience.
