Spēs | Vino naturale e cucina POP is a small natural wine bar & Italian restaurant serving more than 100 natural wines, all by the glass in the East Village neighborhood. The ambience is very cozy and intimate, low warm lights, candles, natural wines in every place you look with a beautiful antique/rustic Italian vibe.
We focus in farmers who respect the biodiversity and respect the LAND. We work with small production of wines, therefore every time you come you will find something new, beautiful and interesting! We have an UNIQUE and FUN way to choose the wine. You'll have to COME and try it for yourself! #choosthemoodwebringthewine
Our cuisine is genuine Italian, from small bites to a full dinner - don't forget to try our delicious desserts! All based in local products and the freshest ingredients!
We have as well a small cocktail list ALL vermouth based! You will me amaze how good they taste!

This is an immaculate restaurant and wine bar! The vibes are excellent for date night or girly dinners. It’s a super small restaurant but the great music and ambient lighting adds to the cozy atmosphere. Had to call to make a reservation for 6 people on a Saturday night and even though our table wasn’t ready, the servers Diego and Andy made sure we were taken care of and treated us to some wine! The pasta portions are big enough to split so 4 girls split 2 pastas + the burrata with prosciutto while the 2 GF girlies each got the octopus. Our pastas were DEVINE and so tasty (carbonara and bucatini amatriciana) but our friends said the grilled octopus was too chewy?? took like a million bites to get down apparently lol. Finished the night off strong with PANNACOTTA and even though I’m usually a tiramisu girl I would come back just for that.

My favorite place. The vibe is perfect for any kind of night, the food and wine are amazing, and the staff is so fun. This place is perfection

I love that the restaurant gives you a few wines to try based on your mood and grape you're looking for. The pasta was amazing. The atmosphere is super romantic and cute. The owner clearly paid close attention to aesthetic - the fans on the ceiling are operated by gears, and all of the wine goblets are one of a kind. We had a wonderful meal!

Check your receipt because they tried to charge for an extra glass of wine and an extra $35 wine fee for opening (could not understand what this was for). We simply each had one glass of red wine they recommended to us after using their spinner.

One of my favorite spots!! The food is amazing & the ambiance is lovely. Our server Diego was so attentive & kind. This is a date night staple. Will be back ❤️

i know this makes me sound no fun - but im sober RN, and i dont eat cheese or gluten. i ordered a zero proof drink, and they brought me an alc one instead - i realized after a sip so not the biggest drama - but also not fun. then i ordered my pasta sans cheese on top -but it arrived with. given service was really slow and it'd taken awhileeeeee to get our food, i elected to just scrape cheese vs send it back - but again - not ideal. in general service felt slow - after i was finished, my main sat for 20 mins before they took it at my request. the music was really loud for such a small space, and the music had lyrics - which at times pulls attention from a conversation cause the brain doesnt know what to latch onto. the room was also really warm - which on a 90 degree day, can be a lot. that the bill was over $200 didnt feel great.
