The Spring Mill Café has been serving French country fare since 1978. We're a BYO that serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The historic property features the original Spring Mill general store, and the picturesque converted farmhouse. When the weather is nice, guests are invited to dine outdoors adjacent the gardens, either on the patio or on one of the porches.

I went to SMC because my friends wanted to celebrate 2025. I realized there was nothing I could eat because I am vegan. So, I called to get some help and to tell them I didn’t want to make my friends uncomfortable. My goodness! They understood my wishes. They are AMAZING PEOPLE at SMC. I had a delicious pear salad, a vegan version of the beef Bourguignon made with mushrooms instead of beef all served with kindness. Delicious food—that’s what matters to them!

Always a special dining experience at Spring Mill Cafe. The coziness of the Cafe, the care and concern for hospitality is outstanding. The staff is exceptional. Their concern and their enjoyment of serving is comforting. They have been instructed well, a reflection on the host, Ezra. They like serving people well. Shout out to our server Nathan, happy, helpful, a pleasure to have waiting on us. Oh and the food, ridiculously good. French flair. Something new all the time, potato leek soup with lobster, need I say more? The filet, done to perfection amazing sauce. And again ridiculous deserts, pistachio cake with crème fraise, yes. C’est delicireux.

It just keeps getting better! The Bastilla appetizer is a huge and gorgeous round of filo dough filled with a chicken/egg/almond mix spiced pefectly with cinnamon & turmeric. It comes on a bed of Israeli (large pearl) couscous with dried fruit and harissa, and it could have been my main course if I hadn't also been craving the cassoulet. My wife had the roasted beets first (outstanding!). Her main course (halibut) was "the best piece of fish I've ever had" - meaty but light and moist, and quite generous. Equal attention to guests and details are routine for the staff, so it was just another perfect Saturday night out.
