St. Eve's is one of New Jersey's best BYO restaurants with a dining experience that is both refined and relaxed with quality, care and service that will have you coming back again and again. Chef/Owner Steve Christianson, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, in Hyde Park, NY, is lauded for his kitchen artistry, his passion for perfection and his commitment to serving only the freshest organic, and when possible, locally sourced ingredients. The menu evolves with the season and so each dining experience can be a new culinary adventure!                                               My reservation was cancelled the day of the meal, although it was made a month prior. They require a phone confirmation and were unable to contact me. As this was Christmas Eve I was offended at the cancellation when I had planned so far in advance. Luckily the table was still available but they made sure I understood they were doing me a favor. Both times I have eaten there they have been very fussy about reservations and the number of attendees. Sometimes one does not know how many will show up until the event. They gave me a hard time about whether 5 or 6 were expected when I reserved for 6. The food is excellent but may reconsider repeat visits due to the unnecessary reservation hassles.

                                              Never disappoints! Anik is a true gem greeting the diners. Our server was knowledgeable and personable! Very attentive! I had the lamb lollipop appetizer special which was elevated by the sauce accompanying it. And the duck breast was divine!

                                              Even though I am a local, I have not been to St. Eve's in a while. As a wine enthusiast I should support these local BYOBs more often. The food was excellent, probably one of the best pork chops I have ever had, wish I knew how they got it so tender. Other dishes :sea bass, lamb chops and duck spring rolls were also top notch. Service was professional and responsive. Decor is a bit cold and austere, However I do strongly recommend this restaurant and will be returing again shortly.

                                              We enjoyed a lovely dinner; food was great and service was equally good. The acoustics in the restaurant are very good and we easily conversed with our guests without the usual challenges of a busy restaurant. Would highly recommend; prices are reasonable given the quality of the food.
