St Georges focuses on providing the opportunity for our students to showcase their skills under the supervision of Victoria’s leading professional trainers. The restaurant caters for up to 100 guests. Private functions are available on request

I loved the lamb salad and the salmon was exquisite! The elderflower mocktail was perfect for a hot day. Thank you to the team for great food and excellent service. I will be back.

Trying to book a table for St Georges is the only road block. If you can get in, its a brilliant experience. The students are delightful, the food amazing.

Service excellent with energetic supervisors and trainees eager to please. Food fresh, well cooked and imaginatively presented. A delightful experience which we shall be happy to repeat. So glad to have discovered this restaurant.

To think these are students running a fine dining restaurant. The attention to the customer is brilliant. You don't have to ask for anything. The person servicing us bought water to the table and topped it up without having to be asked. The students are very customer focused and attentive without hovering. The food was beautifully presented. The food is exactly like what you see on many cooking shows. Beautifully silky smooth potato. Adequate sauce and vegetable component. Seasoned to perfection. The person serving us appeared a bit nervous and was very quiet however, her attention to detail and the attention she gave us was outstanding.

Being a training restaurant one expects there to be a few issues but nothing really comes to mind. The service was quiet, attentive and unintrusive and the food generally nicely cooked. Servings are on the large side and value excellent.

Once inside St George's, you wouldn't realise it was part of a training facility - the food, service and value for money are all outstanding. Highly recommended.

Fabulous restaurant. Very well run. I live supporting these kids who will become the next generation of chefs, cooks, waiters etc. Quality food and absolutely fantastic value for money. Wished I lived closer so I could come once a week. Well done guys.

This is my second year for the Cocktail Party in November. Fabulous night. Great cocktails and good food. Good energy being Hawolleen night. Great music. Keep it up - Will return next year for sure.

For a training restaurant, (Melbourne Polytechnic) I was amazed how great it was. Those students have been trained about proper restaurant etiquette so well! Wonderful!

I went to the annual Apprentice Dinner, my first time at the restaurant. The food, wine and service were both outstanding and I can't say I noticed any particular difference from a "normal" restaurant.
