   I had the most incredible experience at Star Leaf in Pasadena while celebrating a family member’s birthday. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the stunning ambiance—the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, with a warm yet elegant atmosphere that made the evening feel extra special. Our waitress, Daeja, was truly the best. She was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing night. Her recommendations were spot on, and her service made our celebration even more memorable. Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks—absolutely spectacular! I started with a lychee martini, which was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and one of the best I’ve had. The appetizers set the tone for the rest of the meal—the Crying Tiger Chicken Salad was packed with flavor, and the Saigon Summer Rolls were fresh and delicious. For the main course, the Royal Crown Fried Rice was an absolute must-try, bursting with rich, savory flavors. And the 12-Hour Braised Angus Short Ribs? Truly out of this world—tender, flavorful, and melt in your mouth perfection. Every bite was an experience in itself. From the ambiance to the outstanding food and impeccable service, Star Leaf exceeded all expectations. It was an unforgettable night, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

   The food was terrible & I was embarrassed, as my friend had not been there before. A Valentines prix fix dinner was also a limiting & bad idea. Bland curry, overcooked steak, salmon was spicy & unappetizing. The dessert was hideous!!! What WAS to be their coffee dessert in a sugar cage, turned out to be a DREADFUL very lumpy chocolate concoction. It was the worst!

   I tried the lunch menu for winter Dine LA with a friend. It was fantastic. The food portion is a good size to share with a friend. The food was delicious and a nice presentation. The vibe was delightful. The waiter was extra nice and attentive. He kept refilling our hot water.
