                                                                                  Not super busy for late afternoon Saturday, which makes semi slow service weird. My bread was burnt, tip of lasagna burnt also. Both tasty, just crusty. I was surprised as have had perfect meals before.

                                                                                  Been here a few times before and this time was nothing special. The service was meh at best, we got the food we ordered. I ordered wine at the beginning and it didn’t arrive until after my main course arrived. Our empty first course plates sat piled on the table until halfway thru our main courses, and several people walked by our table in the interim with empty hands to clear. Server tried to drop check without inquiring about coffee or dessert, which is awkward considering we had a young child with us who wanted dessert. We each ordered different flavored gelatos and it all came in 1 bowl (which made my son not want to eat his.. he’s particular), plus we had to ask for spoons. Knowing the type of usual clientele of this place, I understand the blasé mindset but the little details do matter.

                                                                                  If you're going to be in the MSG area for an event or shopping at Macy's, this is an excellent place to have a relaxing meal with truly excellent foods. Food was delicious, prix fixe was good value, service was excellent and price was a bit high but probably not considering the location. I would definitely go back.

                                                                                  Excellent place to have lunch or dinner near to Penn and Moynahan stations. Great Italian food. Lovely open space with great views of the Empire State Building. By far the best place in the area. A lovely setting. I highly recommend it.

                                                                                  Family friends and family converged from two states and three locations and the four of us were so happy with Stella 34 Trattoria from start to finish. I can’t rave enough about our server and am quite embarrassed that I do not remember her name but she was extremely helpful to our Spanish speaking friends, attentive and gracious and friendly and the service was mega-professional. We were made to feel welcome , allowed to visit beyond our allotted time and just comfortable from start to finish. The restaurant is beautiful with of course the signature view of the Empire State Building (I used to see that from the East Side), tranquil, clean to a fault, noise level perfect for our older crew, the food delicious, an awesome Pumpkin Margarita was enjoyed along with Prosecco. I recommend especially the giant prawns with garlic and the cauliflower with brussel sprouts appetizer. I’m Coming back for a cocktail and pizza!
