Our new year set menu for one - 'Stick To What You Love' is only available in January 12pm - 6pm. Here, it's all about the sticks from the grill, miso soup and rice - hot and comforting. After all, we're a sushi restaurant even for those who don't like fish. Choose the Sticks Menu for a winter warmer (£19.50) Miso Soup STICKS (x5) -Shake Teriyaki -Tsukune Chilli -Ramu Niku -Shishito Yaki -Momo Nanban Rice (With Crunchy chilli, teriyaki, or chilli dip) OR, Dive into the Sea Menu for a lighter lunch (£19.50) Miso Soup Grilled Edamame Seaweed Salad Rice Paper Shake Available every day throughout January from 12pm-6pm. 2nd visit to Sticks N Sushi in Kingston within a month and another lovely experience. The food is absolutely delicious and the service super friendly and attentive. Rachel who served us was wonderful and we were well looked after. Can't wait to come again soon!

Had to chase half the order twice. Was left with no time to eat as was going to the cinema. “Kitchen problems” of an unidentifiable nature and an unidentifiable amount taken off the bill but very sub optimal and unacceptable.

They have got rid of most vegan options and all gluten free fried dishes too. No longer worth for the cost.

We were 15 minutes late and after contacting them got no issue, the service people were excellent, the food was fantastic and very promptly serve for a rather large order. It was the first experience with my son going to a proper sushi restaurant and he didn’t disappoint. We write it together 9.9 out of 10.

I regret having to write this review about Sticks n’ Sushi in Kingston. We usually visit the Wimbledon or White City branches, which are always amazing. However, Kingston has a lot of room for improvement in comparison. This was our second visit in less than two months, and unfortunately, the experience was just as disappointing as the first. The food didn’t meet the usual standards at all—it didn’t look fresh, and the sushi resembled something you’d find at a supermarket. The service was equally poor. Our waiter showed no interest in being friendly and seemed visibly annoyed when my husband accidentally knocked over an empty glass onto the table (no breakage or mess involved). He didn’t bother to explain the dishes, as is usually customary, and instead just placed the food on the table with no care, making the whole experience feel rushed and dismissive. For the price we paid, it was a very unpleasant experience. I just wanted to finish my meal and leave as quickly as possible. I wish I had taken photos or noted the waiter’s name. Experiencing such poor service twice in a row makes me believe this isn’t just a one-off issue. My 3 stars in this review is just in consideration of the other branches.
