Our first restaurant opened on Nansensgade in 1994. In the cozy basement, Copenhageners were greeted with “Irasshaimase” for the first time – a tradition we still uphold. Reserve a table or order takeaway, and experience where our journey began.

The food is really of very high and fresh quality - and thus, being the family’s preferred sushi restaurant. We have previously remarked that it took long time to decide the different small dishes from the menu card but luckily they have reverted back to some bigger combined dishes making it more simple to choose from. We ordered a lot of food - and more that we could eat - so it was really nice that the restaurant offered to make not one but two doggie bags for our children. As usually, we’ll be back and hopefully with nice weather so we can be seated on the popular tables outside. The pricing is on the heavy side but high quality don’t go cheap. Good work!

Excellent food and service. We were seated in a high traffic area adjacent to the drink-mixing station adjacent to the kitchen, which seemed to slow the service a bit, but all in all, the service was good. Great menu and fresh, flavorful food. Sushi was outstanding.

We were received in the restaurant with great smiles form everybody. Food was fantastic and our waitress did an amazing job.

I enjoyed the food especially since I work at sticks n sushi at Frederiksberg and I learned a few things and now I can be a better waiter than I was before. Food was amazing would recommend the skake teriyaki.

We ordered some mentes, and the dinner was organized by the waiter with starters, sushi and sticks. All presented nice and explained by the waiter. Very nice. The food was well prepared and tasted excellent. During the dinner the waiter was servicing when needed with a big smile and nice comments. We felt welcome. Ended up with a nice desert. Highly recommended.
