STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

Stir was awesome! We started with the oysters Rockefeller which were to die for. We also enjoyed the truffle fries and the cheeseburger egg rolls which were delicious. I had the halibut which was good but needed extra sauce. I asked for the beurre blanc sauce which made it perfect. My friend got the chicken caprese which tasted great, too! Will definitely go back! Make sure to make a reservation!

The food is delicious, timely, and unique. Wait staff is always very attentive and kind. Try their matcha cheesecake- I know it sounds weird but you will not regret it!!! ( I don’t like matcha or cheesecake, btw)

Made reservations for 4. Show up 10 min early and they are closed. No phone call or text. People were inside eating and they had a sorry closed sign on the door.

Food overall was great . The Bao bun and Volcano roll appetizers were out of this world! Too bad you can’t get them as a dinner option. The order of steak frites was just so so, should have stuck with the Mahi Mahi that I’ve had before. Our order of steak and goat cheese ravioli was also very flavorful. Will be back, great atmosphere and good solid menu choices!

STIR is always great. The service and food is excellent. Their crab bisque is as good as any you can get on the coast. Chicken Piccata was excellent.

Went here for a date night. They had an incredible special with a 24 oz porterhouse for two, it was the most delicious and well thought out meal that either of us have had in years. Everything from the service to the food to the drinks to the ambiance was incredible. I could not recommend it highly enough. Chris was our waiter, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole night!

Great food, excellent service. We had halibut piccata, chicken calabrese and steak frites. All three dishes were excellent. This was our second trip here, will definitely be back!
