Stir Restaurant is regarded as one of the finest pre-theatre restaurants in Dublin. Located opposite the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, the location deserves a standing ovation. To compliment this convenience, an array of European, seasonally inspired dinner dishes are offered in affordable fixed price and a la carte options. A special children’s menu is also available, keeping the young ones’ tummy happy.

MAINS Fillet of hake, buttered greens, mashed potatoes, hollandaise. Roast supreme of chicken, buttered mash, baby carrots, with wild mushroom jus. Organic falafel, beetroot hummus, raita, and flatbreads. Pasta of the Day. Ask your waiter for details. DESSERTS Pistachio crusted carrot cake served with whipped cream.                                             Enjoyed a lovely meal in Stir after a matinee show in the nearby Bord Gais theatre. The food was really good and the service from the restaurant manager and our lovely friendly waitress was excellent.

                                            Thomas was out server and he was charming and funny. He made us feel comfortable from the beginning. He also organised an anniversary surprise for our table. The food was exactly what we ordered and cooked beautifully. We were staying at the hotel so it was really convenient to use the restaurant and we weren't disappointed.

                                            I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Yes, that is how we started our evening at the Stir. We were looking forward to a nice quiet dinner but got the opposite. We had to demand another table which was still too loud for a nice restaurant. Food was good, not a fine restaurant good and serivce was ok. They brought the wrong wine, but charged us for the one we ordered(which was cheaper). We might as well of ate downstairs at the bar.

                                            We had a lovely evening in Stir restaurant! Amazing staff who were very attentive and friendly, and the food was superb. Would highly recommend!

                                            Had the steak for main, I like it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, not overdone. My partner had the hake and again was cooked perfectly, lovely and succulent. Sides and desserts great also - brownie with the stewed berries (an extra request). Service was warm and prompt and overall a lovely pre theatre experience.
