Stones Gastropub began with a simple idea. The owners desired to bring the best wines they could get their hands on to the Wenatchee Valley. In 2011 their dreams became a reality and The Wine Thief was born as a small, fiercely local, boutique bottle shop located on North Wenatchee Ave. The idea was embraced by the community and the valley"s demand for quality wine outgrew their small space next to Chim Chimney and they decided to relocate to the downtown corridor.

The new space downtown easily accommodated The Wine Thieves' vast wine selection and the they quickly embraced the opportunity to fill an unaddressed niche in the area which lead to the addition of Stumptown coffee, *brunch on the weekends, a cocktail bar and full fledged dinner service.

Stones fully embraces their vision of an approachable gathering place with amazing wine, excellent food, ever-changing drafts, amazing coffee and customer service. *Brunch service is first come first served

We have dined here many times and had great meals but last night was sub par. Our food came an hour after we ordered and much of it was cold. Our waitress ghosted us during the wait for our food and once our food came she never returned to the table. Don’t know if we will be back. ☹️

I made reservations here after reading online reviews. The menu looked interesting (for Wenatchee), so I decided to give it a try. The dinner started nicely, my cocktail (lavender lemon drop) was tasty. However, the keg had blown on the beer my husband asked for. Not a big deal, just sad. Then it took at least a half hour for our entrees to arrive. And unfortunately, my choice was not very good. It was a seafood bowl that was really dry and not very flavorful. My husband tried the pork shank. Not impressed. The only decent meal was my mother-in-law’s fish and chips. She liked it - but she doesn’t go out much. The place is kind of cute, but it’s like they ran out of money to finish decorating all of the way. If you stick with typical pub food, maybe it would be a lot better.

Service was a little slow but very nice server. Dinner was good and great special on a bottle eof win.

Ordered two drinks that tasted like cough syrup. Just terrible. Weird vibe. Almost completely empty, waitstaff sat us in corner trapped in by kids in our table space the whole time. Paid our bill and went somewhere else.

Food was good, but pretty expensive for what we had. One glass of wine each, shared an appetizer and a salad at Happy Hour and still over $60.

My friend and I enjoy getting together for dinner out now and then and we always seem to choose Stone's. We've always been really happy with our meal and the service. This past visit, I was a little disappointed with the burger I ordered. I had asked for it to be cooked medium with a little pink and it was well done and a quite dry. Not as much flavor either as in past visits. I'll still come back because everybody has an off day, but I hope this won't be a trend with the food. It's always been so good.

The food was perfect, from the pan fried chicken which was delicious to the beignets. All 4 meals were perfect.
