SUCCOTASH is named after the classic dish that has been a longstanding staple of the Southern table. Waitstaff was very friendly and attenttive… the food with a southern twist was very enjoyable… As an old renovated bank, the ambiance strong… Very pleasant… Our only hiccup - some of the group needed separate checks (public employees)… we had some challenges solving that problem at the end of the meal…

This was the second time that I've been to the Succotash Prime location. Both times I expected just a little bit more. It's not the service. Our servers were impeccable. It's just that I wanted just a little more oomph from the food. Maybe just a tad more seasoning. My dining partner and I got the brunch for the table (which was underpriced - words I never thought I'd say): deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, citrus salad, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and pecan sticky buns. We also got a side of the greens and kimchi and an order of corn bread Everything was fine, but I wanted there to be a pop of flavor in my mouth and there really wasn't with the exception of the citrus salad. We had a child with us who ordered macaroni and cheese and she LOVES macaroni and cheese, but she didn't finish it. She really liked the ice cream, though. So, good but not great, but great potential is there.

We had a great experience trying out this southern influenced restaurant. The stake was great and the shrimp and grits too
