Located in the bustling River North dining scene, Sunda offers a vibrant Southeast Asian dining experience, blending the flavors of Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, and beyond. We elevate culturally significant dishes using high-quality ingredients and modern techniques. Our beverage program includes signature handcrafted cocktails, a robust sake and wine selection, and Asian whiskies and beers. Join us for weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm, or stop by during happy hour Monday to Friday from 4-6pm featuring $6 bar bites, handrolls, and beer, $9 cocktails and wine, and $10 sake. Our venue hosts private events for occasions from corporate outings to rehearsal dinners, and we also offer catering services.

Everything was EXCELLENT, but our service was TOP NOTCH! I’m hoping I remember her name correctly, but Carley (& hope I’m spelling it write) was ahhhh-mazing!!! She was so attentive, yet she let us enjoy ourselves. Absolutely phenomenal!! Side Note: I think we were the noise level from laughing so much 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 Sorry!!

The mousy hostess with an attitude should be fired. Sorry I didn't get her name. Is it that hard to greet guests pleasantly? And it wasn't even busy. Sunda has always been a go to for entertaining. It's off the list now. Our waitress was attentive but couldn't stop the kitchen from sending out dishes Rapid Fire piling up all around us even though we requested a slower pace. The loud dated club music needs to go away. Food was good, but time for a break from what was once a favorite.

Service was great. Food was excellent albeit egregiously over priced. But it’s unbelievably loud to the point of making conversation difficult. No need to blast music so loudly it’s not a nightclub

My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary at Sunda and it exceeded all our expectations. The food and service was great! We ordered the chicken bao buns, pad Thai, and sushi. All of it was amazing and we will definitely be returning!
