   Amazing date night with the wife. Great food and impeccable service and the views are outstanding. The best place for a special occasion in all of Baja.

   Beautiful view, but that’s where the compliments end. We finally decided to try Sunset Monalisa after hearing mixed reviews from friends—and unfortunately, we now understand the hesitation. The view? Absolutely stunning—10/10. The setting sun over the ocean creates an unforgettable backdrop & enjoyed the live music. Be prepared to see couples posing for pictures 24/7… which is amusing at first but gets quite old. The rest of the experience? A major letdown, sadly. Food (3/10): •The oysters were borderline inedible. My husband, a lifelong oyster lover, couldn’t finish them. •Scallops were undercooked and rubbery, with flat, uninspired flavors and a disappointing presentation. •The tartare was lackluster—the meat wasn’t high quality and lacked any real flavor. We only enjoyed it after soaking it in the soy/Jo Dales-style marinade it came with. •The totoaba sashimi was underwhelming as well, though we did appreciate the unexpected touch of watermelon, which offered a unique contrast. •The one highlight was the ravioli—well-prepared and flavorful, but not enough to redeem the overall meal. Service (2/10): Disorganized, inattentive, and impersonal. For a restaurant positioned as a fine-dining destination, the service was far from what you’d expect. Bottom line: Go for a cocktail and the view if you must—but skip dinner. There are better ways to enjoy a Cabo sunset without the high price tag and disappointment.

   Our experience was terrible, the food wasn’t good and the service was awful. We were there almost 3 hours and our glasses were never full of water we kept waving down our sever for refills. The bone marrow was good and steak. That was it, our pasta was bland and soft (we tried two different pastas). We were so excited to try this place makes me sad it wasn’t all that we expected.

   Absolutely wonderful evening! We weren't sure we would fully enjoy the bar/lounge area when we couldn't get a reservation for a standard dining table… But we couldn't have had a better time! Manuel not only gave us excellent service but was friendly and funny, and the food (jazz on the rocks menu for now) was excellent. We had the most beautiful view for sunset and just loved every minute for our last night in Cabo.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner experience at Sunset Mona Lisa. With incredible views, delicious cuisine, live music and great service, we would definitely come back again. I highly recommend this establishment.
