The Swan bar, restaurant & private dining rooms are located at Shakespeare's Globe on Bankside and have stunning River Thames and central London views.

    Having eaten here a couple times before, I was somewhat disappointed with the food. All of my guests complained about the rather high salt content of the food. Desserts were ok except the poached pear with the cheese cake. I think the chef forgot to poach the very tiny pear which if one tried to cut it with the dessert spoon it would have probably whizzed across the restaurant and knocked out some poor unsuspecting diner. Credit given where credit is due, the pumpkin soup and sourdough bread was rather delicious. Also the Chapel Down sparkling wine was scrumptious, would definitely recommend this wine. The restaurant was quite noisy for a Sunday late lunch, one could barely hear what people where saying from across the table.

    This was a very happy accident! Booked last minute for a large group of colleagues, we were seated in the private dining room with stunning views of The Globe, St Pauls and the Thames. Food was excellent and our waiter was also outstanding. Would highly recommend!

    Very very nice place for an afternoon tea, the atmosphere is warm, the service is incredible. all the staff were lovely. I would come back with pleasure

    Booked on the day, which was late, however contract was quick and easy. Arrived a little early bit seated anyway, nice atmosphere, good views good food, good service, well done all.

    It’s such a beautiful setting for afternoon tea. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and we had a lovely, memorable afternoon.
