Swift & Sons is an American Steakhouse brought to you by Boka Restaurant Group. The stunning multi-room space was designed by the world-renowned design firm AvroKO and is located in the heart of the Fulton Market District — the birthplace of Chicago meatpacking. Executive Chef Chris Pandel's menu is based in traditional ideas and elevated with a modern approach that makes it unique in the Chicago steakhouse landscape. We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. When we got to our table there was a note saying happy 19th anniversary and it was signed by the staff! From that moment on I knew our night was going to be special. Brittany was very patient and thorough with us (this was our first visit and I redeemed two gift certificates). Her customer service skills were unmatched! The food was phenomenal and so was the service the moment we walked in the door! A time was had and my hubby enjoyed every minute and can’t stop raving above our experience!

Outstanding restaurant. The food is truly exceptional. Not fancy, but everything down to the last lowly French fry tasted great. I felt a little rushed as about 5-6 people swarmed us for the first 5 minutes (coat check? still or bubbly water?cocktails? Wine? Can we remove this extra setting? Any appetizer to start? These were all different people in rapid sequence or multiples going on at the same time). But once things settled down, it was great. I’m betting it gets loud later in the evening, but it was fine at the early time we went.

We decided to try this place for my wife’s birthday. Our meal from start to finish was fantastic. Our waiter, Wesley, was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. I highly recommend the smoke stack old fashion, which is made table side and offers a unique experience. For appetizers, we tried the cold platter, which again, was delicious but not overfilling. Wesley recommended the 22 oz ribeye-fantastic. They offered to precut the steak so it was easily split between two people. When ordering sides, I highly recommend ordering half orders so you can try multiple. It was the perfect size to split between two people while not feeling overwhelmed with the amount there. We ordered the mashed potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, and Mushrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed each of the sides but highly recommend the mashed potatoes. Again, from start to finish, we were in awe by their service, the atmosphere, and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a card signed by the staff as well as a personalized menu. We will absolutely be recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting Chicago and are already planning to return to Swift and Sons again.

Lovely waitstaff, very attentive and friendly. French onion soup was very good, but always want more cheesiness than breadiness. Again, very tasty, just not my fave- hence, the 4 stars vs. 5. Wedge was incredible, everything was very fresh and flavorful. Ambience and staff are top notch. Music was a tad loud but good songs so letting that slide.
