Upon arrival, despite booking three days in advance and the table being empty, the establishment declined to provide me with the requested table. They asserted that they were unable to accommodate me because reasons it doesn’t make sense to me. This situation was disappointing. The manager may contact me to discuss this further.

We had a party of 20 that we reserved. The staff was quite quick and efficient with all of our orders. Our server was awesome! He was personable and quick. The food was what you would expect from pub type food. Many of us found a few dishes were way oversalted! But their drink list was really good! Something for everyone with some good originals. Id recommend going, its got a pretty good atmosphere too. Next time id go for the drinks more than the food, unless you can request no extra salt or seasoning to some of the food

This is not a negative review but rather feedback for management. We booked a table well in advance for the advertised Valentine's Weekend Menu, expecting a quiet, romantic dinner. However, the atmosphere was the complete opposite due to a hockey game being shown. While I understand that sports events can draw a crowd, it created a very different experience from what we had anticipated. We arrived at 7 PM and were seated at a table without overhead heating—the only one in that situation. The couple next to us even kept their jackets on. At the time, I decided to make the best of it, but it did raise the question: why promote a special Valentine's Weekend Menu if the ambiance doesn’t align with it? My feedback for Tap & Barrel is this: We booked this table well in advance for a Valentine’s dinner, and it seems like we were placed at the least desirable table because we weren’t there for the hockey. While the food and service were great, and we happily spent $180 while staying from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, it was frustrating that couples celebrating Valentine's were seated in a colder section while the majority of customers left as soon as the hockey game ended. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for guests looking for a romantic evening.

Super good service super good food we got put on the patio for our date night during a hockey game which we wanted to watch the tables around us were super loud and a bit drunk but the food and the server made up for it will go back again but probably ask to be downstairs unless with friends

We went to watch the Canada US hockey game and the vibe was a lot of fun. Big TVs great for watching games. The food was pretty good. We were impressed by the service, especially considering how busy it was!

Had a nice experience. All the guests enjoyed the view, the washroom was cute, and the overall vibe was great! Serving portions were pretty generous. Would love to visit again!
