Chef Mark Tarbell immediately elevated fine dining in Phoenix when he opened his "Neighborhood Restaurant for the Nation", Tarbell's. Chef Mark firmly believes that the Tarbell's staff are the stars. Hundreds of accolades later, the Tarbell's team continues to serve relevant, curated, Farm to Table, inspirational dishes and classic comfort food in the elegant, art-filled space. Mark has won five Emmy Award’s as the host of AZ PBS’s “Plate and Pour” and “Check, Please! Arizona” and is a two time inductee into The Arizona Hall of Culinary Fame as Outstanding Chef and Media Master. Mark's adventures include Tarbell’s Restaurant, Wine Bar (Tavern), The Wine Store, Tarbell’s Catering, Tarbell’s The Goods at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Terminal 4, The Tavern at Terminal 3 and The Bond- Cultivate and The Vault.

    This was my first time dining at Tarbell’s and I have to say it was the best experience. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, bubbly. They knew the menu, including the bartenders. Best part as I was leaving, I’m given a little wrapped brownie a tiny present. Thanks for the great hospitality ❤️😊 I’ll be returning.

    Food was very good. definitely recommend the chick peas-they were so delicious. also the seafood chowder, which was rich with fish. the lobster salad was also very good. the service was outstanding. Hostess and waitstaff were pleasant upbeat and ready with knowledge about the menu in assisting the decision making process. The outdoor seating was lovely and there were ample heaters. We will definitely go back to try more dishes on the menu!

    Tarbells may be the best restaurant not just in Arizona but the entire southwest. It should be studied as what an upscale neighborhood service can provide in food, people, experience with no putting on airs.

    We had a fabulous evening at Tarbell’s. The service was wonderful. She was so attentive, thoughtful and professional. The food was delicious, something for everyone. We were celebrating a 90th birthday, and the team made it amazing. I will highly recommend Tarbell’s to my friends and family. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

    With several fine restaurants in the Valley, Tarbell's is at the top of our list. Dinner with our old neighbors from Michigan. The food was outstanding; the staff was polite and attentive to our needs and did not rush us through our meal and conversation. Topping off the evening was Chef Mark stopping by all the tables reinforcing the class of this long time Phoenix establishment.

    Awesome experience. Mark came to our table and spent time with us and he was so genuine. He even sent us complimentary desserts. We had the best time.
