    We are regulars at Tarrants and usually love it. Tonight was an off night. Our table was squeezed into a very tight space. Uncomfortable. Waited 10 minutes after being seated before a server came. Waited another 10 minutes then for our drinks. Bread didn't come until our food arrived. Never refilled water or asked if we wanted another drink. This is VERY different than our usual experience. It was busy but still unacceptable. If this had been our first time we would not be back.

    The menu changed drastically! However, the she crab soup was very clumpy. The bun was larger than the crabcake for my sandwich. I will not be back!

    Outstanding food, service, ambience - great dinner experience. Drinks were excellent and the she-crab soup was fantastic!

    The food was excellent. I did not take a photo of our order before we ate it but it was all delicious. My husband had the mahi mahi tacos and I had the Rueben sandwich, both excellent. He also had the She Crabby soup which was so good we bought some to go. If you’re in the Richmond area, just go and enjoy.

    Table for 10 after Legendary Santa. We had a great experience. Service was top notch, food was great and atmosphere was ideal. Definitely becoming part of our tradition.

    We waited an hour for our food- just sandwiches and salads. My sandwich was barely warm. Disappointing experience as we arrived early for our reservation (5:00)- table wasn't even set up yet. We told our waitress we were going to the ballet at 7:00. She promised us we would get out on time. 6:20 we still didn’t have our meals, drinks were empty- we barely had time to eat 1/2 our meal then had to take the rest to go to get to the show on time.
