Taverna is a restaurant utilizing authentic Italian flavors to create memorable dishes. This restaurant is designed from the ground up to be a neighborhood bistro. Taverna is meant to be the kind of restaurant that guests can bring their family for either a casual meal or to celebrate special occasions. While the inside of the restaurant is cozy, the best place to enjoy the great food is out on the wraparound patio.Taverna is open for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on the weekends. During lunch and dinner service, guests will find a large variety of menu items available. Pasta, soups, salads and pizza are all popular choices. Taverna is also known for their risotto, as an entire section of the menu is devoted to the "risotteria". The signature risotto topped with a simple blend of parmesan cheese and black truffle cream sauce.

We had a great dinner at taverna. We sat on the outdoor patio which was completely covered. Ambiance and service were great! They have the best truffle fries!

I had the Mahi Mahi with shrimp special. Also had the tuna appetizer. Both were exceptional, we will be back as we have before....

Food was okay but not memorable. They would not turn off the gigantic TV playing a golf simulator event despite no patrons wishing to watch this. A bit odd.

The food was very good. Decent portion size. Server was pleasant and attentive. My drawback is the seating. We were sat along the wall opposite the bar-on the host stand side. 2 person tables. During most of the meal, those tables were sat, while all but one table in that portion of the place remained empty. It diminished my experience as the tables are so close that I could not only smell the perfume of the women beside me, but also her wine. Her companion gave a running commentary on the Oscar’s as he could see tv’s in the bar area. I didn’t make a reservation to experience any one of these, let alone all three. It is hard to have an enjoyable experience when we were left feeling like we were dining with people we did not know and did not invite.

Brunch reservation for 2pm. Loved the specials for the day. Music was like a club which I didn’t initially like but I suppose it grew on me. Food was yum.

Friendly, but very slow staff. Focaccia was not focaccia at all, but pizza crust. Still tasty , but mislabeled. The lemonade was too sour for children, who complained the noise level. It was deafening at times. . The eggs Benedict had dried up hollandaise sauce. The Caesar salad was attractively presented, but watery and unseasoned; the chicken on it was very leathery. The hamburger was average; nothing special. The Eggplant Parm was very good though. The pistachio taramisu tasted so strongly of coffee that the pistachio was lost. The apple pie was attractive, but the rum almost overpowered the apples. The bill was exorbitant, considering the quality of the food, noise level, and slow kitchen. Not recommended.
