Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.

We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.
Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date.
There will be a $20 per person charge for no shows or cancellations without 48-hour notice.

    I've had better experiences at Terra in the past, but this time was a bit disappointing. We were seated late, and in front of an open door leading to the terrace, on a cold winter night. I asked that the door be closed, so they moved it an inch, said they needed ventilation and "is this ok?". If it was ok, we would not have asked. My colleague covered his head with is hoody, and were kind of cold the whole time. Our server was nice enough, though not terribly knowledgeable; in the past I've been impressed how well the staff were trained in the details of Italian cuisine - but not this time. The food was good - maybe not as good as I remembered, or perhaps my discomfort colored my perception. My guess is that Friday night is a bad time, when they are just too busy to keep up proper service. I like the food, so I'll try and come in quieter times in the future.

    One of our favorite places. We sat outside on the terrace, and although it was a chilly evening, we were quite comfortable.

    It’s bright and airy—if you like sitting in direct sunlight, definitely get a table outside! Excellent salads, especially the little gem and the insalata verde. Avoid ordering the chicken skewers. Unfortunately we did but sent them right back due to texture, quality, and taste. The cocktails are good! A little light on alcohol but for a lunch cocktail, that works.

    Our server was extremely inattentive. Much of our time spent was waiting or waving someone for help. Unfortunately this experience tainted my view on this restaurant.

    Server was not very attentive. Foot was good but not great. Pricing is high for what you get.

    Lovely location but overpriced food that wasn’t authentic. It was basic and lacked flavor at times as well, absolutely not worth the price.

    Food was good but a little expensive for the portions served (which we expected). We specifically wanted the terrace for the ambience however, the smoke from the kitchen wood fire grill overwhelmed everything. Even though the kitchen is enclosed in a glass box, we went home smelling like we had spent the evening in front of a campfire.
