The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.

Great neighborhood gem with a diverse menu that changes monthly. Nice mix of small and shareable plates. Pricing is fair for a restaurant of its quality. Perfect for a special night out.

While the food and service were both very good, we were extremely surprised by the portion sizes relative to price. We had looked at the menu prior to making reservations and didn’t realize the intent was to be more like tapas. The server recommended 2-3 dishes per person, not all of which seemed worthy of their $20-30 price tags.

Food here is delicious, unusual and interesting. The restaurant is spotless with an open kitchen and open concept dining room. Nice wines and cocktails.

Love love this restaurant. Second time here and it did not disappoint. Brought my foodie friend who was visiting from out of town and so proud to say Cincy has a NY times best of restaurant. Fantastic service innovative food and beautiful building.

A wonderful first dinner at Aperture. Will be eager to return. Food is delicious, singular, and memorable. Friends were trying to reverse engineer the squash did, but I didn't even try. The only way I'll see the dish again is by returning to the restaurant, which we're fortunate to have in Cincinnati.
