The Aperture, the first full-scale restaurant project from Chef Jordan Anthony-Brown. The menu reflects the concept of Mediterranean mezze style dining, consisting of many small plates, rustic in nature and reflective of seasonality and creates a natural progression and flow for the dining experience. The Aperture’s menu reflects three fundamental tenets: intention, balance, and focus. The menu - and its individual dishes - are approached with the objective of putting critical thought into every component, eliminating the extraneous, and ensuring a natural flow across the menu. The culinary program is heavily influenced by the cuisine of the broader Mediterranean region and the simple, seasonal cooking of Southern France, Italy, Greece, and the Levant.

Aperture is an outstanding restaurant with great food and service. Be prepared to be amazed and stretch your culinary taste as Chef Jordan delivers a myriad of delicious menu items. My wife and I selected 8 items starting with the scallops and ending with the sticky toffee pudding. We were stuffed and even had enough food to take some home. Their cocktails are creative, and they have nice wine list as well. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items and partake of our favorite items from this visit. Great job Aperture!

The Aperture is consistently one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. The food is always inventive and amazing. The service is intuitive. It speaks volumes about the culture of the restaurant that many of the staff have been there since the beginning. The vibe is great! On a less-busy night, it is intimate, on a busy night, there is a buzz and an amazing energy that is infectious. It is such a gem, and we are so fortunate to have Chef Anthony-Brown and his amazing staff in Cincinnati.

This is a wonderful restaurant. It is small plates that are shared with the table. The sweet potato and raviolio were the highlights.

Excellent food with layers of flavors. Fantastic staff...they all worked the entire floor together. Anticipated needs and provided proactively. Love this place.

Overall The Aperture is very good! The food is very flavorful, fresh and simple but delicious. I enjoyed my second time better than my first didn’t have anything to do with them but trying it a second time was definitely worth it and we will back! We tried several dishes, all are small plates but can be shared and we were full. It’s very good overall!

Food was amazing. Some of the most incredible flavor profiles that I have had in years. Service was excellent. You should check this place out. We will be back!

Service was excellent, cocktails were great. Food was really good. It's hard to compete in this city with how high the bar is from restaurants of similar types. The roasted carrot dish, and the pita hummus dip trip were top notch fantastic.

Honestly one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The flavors were simply incredible-complex, balanced, developed. We ordered 6 small plates to share between 2 and it was perfect. Only one tiny take out box to savor later. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly. Come on Michelin! Come taste this new Cincinnati gem.

Let's hope this fantastic restaurant sticks around and maintains its very high standards for many years. Top marks for every dish we ordered; drinks; service; ambience (we sat at the bar and it was quite nice with wonderful bartender helping us out). The Smoked Butter Cornbread dessert was one of the best ends to a meal I've ever had: just perfect. We had a window counter reservation but seats came open at the bar and we were accommodated there right away because we were on a bit of a schedule. Staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. We will be back; and we will tell our friends.
