Worst place to go to for celebratory dinner. I had booked at the Aubrey for my husband's birthday as my husband loves Japanese. We clearly mentioned that during booking and they were well aware of it as they wished him as soon as we entered. We had also called earlier that day around 6pm to move the booking from 7:30 to 8pm. They said they were happy to do so. All this while not mentioning their kitchen had run out of raw fish for sushi the previous day and since then they have been telling customers no raw fish available apparently. One of the waiter mentioned it to us while serving. The least they could have done is mentioned it to us when we called/earlier if they were too busy to call. They waited until we showed up so we would not have any other option. Worst customer service. We do not eat pork or beef. So very limited options on menu. We had to eat a couple of starters and leave hungry on a birthday. Will never visit the Aubrey ever again or recommend it to anyone if they want to have a good time without wondering what might go wrong. Please skip this place if you want to have a good time and food. Worst customer service!!!! Very disappointed.

Service slow. Had to constantly remind staff we had the pairing wines with meal. Actually got so feed up with staff left early, didn’t finish meal. Very disappointed

Outstanding service, beautiful venue and the food was delicious! They treated us so well and made sure we felt comfortable with our child with us. Nothing was too much! Will definitely visit again!

You don’t make anything wrong with this restaurant. However it is not an extraordinary experience and for that it is too expensive and the menu offers mainly regular Japanese fare. The space is cramped, the backs of the chairs touch each other, the waiters cannot pass through when two adjacent tables are occupied. A number of menu choices were not available when we were there. Service was very attentive, though. There are more exciting Japanese restaurants around.

Great Vibrant resturant with lots of atmosphere- often the Japanese high end restaurants tend to be minimalistic with not enough investment in fixtures and fittings and coziness Aubrey fits the bill in all of these!
