Gourmet Tasting with the Chef

Enjoy a bespoke food and wine pairing crafted for you and your guests, with each course designed to delight the senses. The Chef's Table requires a reservation for eight guests, with a choice of 5 or 7 courses. Upon booking, someone will reach out to discuss your experience and related costs.

Everett was our waiter and he was by far the best thing out of our experience. Four tables got their food before us and were sat significantly after us and then daughter’s steak came out near raw. My lobster was extremely over cooked and my broccolini was burnt. The manager countered with it was chargrilled, no ma’am it’s burnt. The counter offer was free dessert, which was better than the meal. Happy New Year to us. We will not be returning.

Had reservations for 5.. traffic made us a few minutes late. Once we were sat, we waited 20 minutes before someone realized we weren’t waited on. Justin made sure we got a server. Food was amazing as always- just expected a bit more attentiveness from the service staff. Even the owners passed us multiple times without realizing we hadn’t had water to the table - at the time we were sat it wasn’t nearly as busy as it was when we left.

I love every experience at The Baker’s Wife. The New Year’s Eve tasting menu was phenomenal, and all the wine pairings were outstanding! Highly recommend, as always.

For my husband's birthday we shared scallops, lobster croquettes, Truffle mac, carrots. Key lime pie and creme brulee for dessert. Excellent food, service, timing, and ambiance. I wish we would have tried this place sooner

The food was excellent, though portions are not large and the menu is limited - think European since it is a French restaurant rather than American. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. I went on a Sunday during their Jazz brunch. However, there is not a live band they just play Jazz music through their sound system, which was a pleasant surprise since I was a little weary about the possibility of them having a live band and it being too loud. I think if the restaurant would have been louder if every table was utilized and due to the high ceilings. Overall, I was very, very happy with my first visit. I will go again.

What a delight! The lamb shank was truly amazing! Tender, moist, and delicious! This place is well worth braving the road construction coming up from Norfolk!

This is the best place ever! The atmosphere is great and the food was fantastic. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend us to anyone looking for great night out to dinner.
