                                                Really enjoyed our meal here. All the food was on point. The Mexican craft beer selection was great. Well worth the short trip just outside the hotel zone. Loved the pork belly and the grilled avocado.

                                                Simply perfect, from the beginning to the end. My fiancé and I went 2 more times in the 10 days we were exploring Cancun. We wanted to try all 27 dishes, we almost got there. We can’t wait to go back just to eat at The Bears Den. There’s nothing like it there, the fusion of Mexican/Asian/Canadian flavours were on point. The “Mexican Truffle” Risotto was to die for, End your night with Mexican Beavertail and some Santanera Tequila. Chef Chris and team were warm and welcoming, the service impeccable. See you soon!

                                                Another wonderful evening of great tastes and excellent service. The adjoining restaurant plays their music quite loudly, competing and drowning out the music from The Bear’s Den. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening!

                                                The experience was laughable! They brought out a baby portobello mushroom with a bit of goat cheese, literally an inch in diameter on a dinner plate. Then there was the salmon, a miniscule piece of over cooked fish also on a dinner plate. Bad enough the presentation was ridiculous but the cooking was even a bigger joke! Proceed at your own risk.....so many better options in Cancun. If you are looking for a fine dining experience seek out Le Cépages in plaza nachupte. A cab ride away from the hotel zone but well worth it.

                                                Upstairs patio seating in a small, lovely setting ( not air conditioned). The food was so unusual and beautifully presented. We went with the all you can eat 700 peso menu which is confusing as it’s small plates of about 2 bites each but we ordered several. My suggestion is to ask for several at one time, otherwise you wait 10-15 minutes between each serving . My food allergies were no problem and they customized my choices. We can’t wait to go back!

                                                The quality and presentation of each tasting menu item was superb and personally introduced to us by either the chef or the GM. We happened upon this restaurant by chance, as it is nearby the condo we rented, and we feel like we won the lottery!! It was such a wonderful experience! Good luck to the Chef and owner Chris and his capable and well-trained staff!

                                                Loved the atmosphere. Tasting menu was amazing! Perfect proportions for our party of four. Each course presented by the chef with an explanation of what he was presenting. The flavour combinations were amazing. The most unique birthday dinner my husband’s ever had and he’s eaten at many fine establishments over his 84 years! Will definitely return on our next visit to Cancun.
